Jeffrey A. Cesari, Jr. has produced numerous meetings, conferences, congresses, incentives and special events in over fifty countries, spanning six continents. 

November 2021, Jeffrey joined the esteemed faculty of Walnut Hill College as an adjunct professor in the college’s Hospitality Management program.

Founded in 1974 as The Restaurant School, Walnut Hill College is one of Philadelphia’s first colleges to focus on excellence in hospitality education.

Spring 2016, Jeffrey was offered a unique opportunity to work as an exclusive consultant for a well-respected and globally recognized organization that helps people prevail over serious diseases. Jeffrey will bring his years of experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to cultivate and build upon the organization's strategic meetings management program. "In some small way, I believe by doing my job to the best of my abilities will be my contribution to help others live longer, healthier lives." 

 

In August 2014, Jeffrey earned the Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification – a credential recognized globally as a badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition and event industry. Jeffrey is also a recognized leader in the industry. Connect Meeting Magazine named him an honoree in their 2014 “40 under 40” for his leadership and dedication to the industry. In May 2015, DiversityBusiness.com ranked Shimmer Events #24 in the 2015 “Top 50 Privately-held Businesses in Pennsylvania” category.

 

Jeffrey has been a contributing writer to Pennsylvania Meetings + Events Magazine, and has been cited in national publications such as the Associated PressConnect Meetings Intelligence MagazineCollaborate MagazineCorporate Incentive & Travel MagazineCrain’s New York BusinessMeeting Focus MagazineMidwest Meetings Magazine, and Meeting Professionals International's 2014 Winter Outlook.

 

Jeffrey is also a contributing writer and editor on the 2015-2017 Convention Industry Council’s CMP Item Writing Panel. He co-leads the Event Technology review team for the Convention Industry Council’s Accepted Practices Exchange (APEX) Task Force, Terminology Protocol Renewal Project.

 

Jeffrey has served on the 2014 Advisory Board to the Washington Speakers Bureau, and accepted the appointment to the 2015-2017 Editorial Advisory Board to Pennsylvania Meetings + Events Magazine. He is an active member of the Independence Business Alliance and serves on the Events Committee for the organization; Meeting Professionals International and International Special Events Society. Jeffrey is also an advisor to the Marketing and Communications Committee at The Church of the Crucifixion and Grace Epiphany Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Jeffrey was raised in the suburbs of historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and will always be home. He along with his husband and American Bulldog, Earl, live in Medford, New Jersey. While enjoying the adventures of exploring new cultures and visiting ­­­destinations around the globe. He’s a self-proclaimed "foodie" who enjoys cooking, fine wines and delicious craft beers. Jeffrey is a voracious reader. He shares his passion for the industry to anyone willing to listen. He is always on the go and focused on the future.
